BFB - Back From Bangkok
Just came back from BBK today... Spend 4 full days cum 1 night and morning at BKK... Was it Fun? Yes and No... Yes to the shopping at cheap prices, No to the aching feets and wondering why i have to torture myself like that... lol... shall break my itinerary into the different days....
DAY NEUNG
Arrived at Bangkok at 10.30PM BKK time, was picked up by Ms "Pi Moo's" secretary in a luxurious van (Ms Pi Moo is my aunty's friend who is also the mother of my ex-tution kid... together with her husband, they own a Recording Company- 3rd largest in BKK). Why i say the van is luxurious, its becos it is those big kind de with a 16' or 18' inches LCD TV ..
(What a Big TV for a Vehicle! LOL!!)We stayed at Evergreen Service Apartment Level 14, can see quite a good view of the buildings of Bangkok... Not Bad if you are travelling with a few friends or family.. comes wit 2 bedroom, Living room and Kitchen...
There is also a Church Building (probably about 30 storey with a huge Cross on top of the building) besides the apartment.. took 2 shots that i feel that its quite nice...
DAY SONG
Day 2 is the Official start day for shopping... went to MBK, Centralworld (new shopping centre) and Platinium for awhile, cos the shops closes at 7pm BKK time (wonder why they closed so early.. anyway on this day BKK was lifted out from the state of emergency)
Roadside stalls outside Centralworld - all the "store owners" are youngsters ard 16-19 years old.. things that they sell are all handmade, very creative.....DAY SAAM
Went to Chatuchak (weekend market), but becos of the terrible weather, we shopped at th JJ Mall (aircon) instead of outside..
Some of the items i bought after 1 day at JJ Mall... Good Substitute for those who do not like to shop in the "sauna".... DAY SEE
I enjoyed this day the most... not becos i have more shopping but we made a trip out of Bangkok to one of Thailand's busiest Floating Market - 100km outside BKK approx. 2hours journey..
This tour is paid by Ms Pi Moo... LOL she said that Thailand is not only shopping but alot of other things so decided to let us go for the Floating Market.. i personally feel that this is one of the places not to be missed...
After that we went for the Shark' fins.. okay only... not really fantastic..... but good food still...
(The one in blue is our guide for the tour.. a local chinese, quite pretty, look like a japanese.. amazing thing about her is that in the day she worked as a guide and at night she set up a stall in the streets to help people read palms.. had double degree in Arts and Communication and in Archeology..and minor in Astrology.. very nice lady...)

DAY HAA
Went to Red Beat Entertainment in the morning (the recording company that Ms Pi Moo owns)
A wall of CDs and LDs in the Lobby of the company.. quite a posh office.. hahaha.. at first i tot the office will not be so nice de. LOL After that continue shopping again... had our lunch at "food loft" at Central.. resturant had a very nice ambience but no photography allowed... sad...
DAY HOK
HOME SWEET HOME!!! ...
Went with these on the 1st day , but wonder where it all went to on the last day.....
Anyway, a great trip afterall... to be able to go with mother and to have a few days off... Looking forward to the next trip .......
