Formula 1 - Singapore Singtel Grand Prix Night ( The Biggest Sporting Event Ever Held in This City State)
Wow wow wow..... What an incredible Race event at the Fomula 1 First Ever Night Race held in Singapore.. All the results were beyond my expectations... Only 1 of the top 3 of the Qualifying rounds came in to top 3 - Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) came in third (He was 2nd in the Qualifying rounds in front of Kimi Raikkonen) . The Champion and the First Runner up were Fernando Alonso (Renault) and Nico Rosberg (Williams Toyota) respectively. Actually Rosberg was quite a good Racer , though he was slapped with a 10-second stop penalty for coming into the pits before it had opened, but he still managed to drive through to the 2nd place..
I felt that L. Hamilton did not perform to expectations.. or maybe his competitors are too strong.. still think that he could do better based on his past results .. hmmmmmmmmm..
Iwould say that it was an awful night for Felipe Massa (Champion in the Qualifying Rounds and in the first few laps at least, without anyone that is able to overtake him).He is our hot favourite with everyone expecting him to win this race's Championship. BUT because of a pitstop blunder, it sent him from the first to the last. my heart goes out for him....... Thats why the Race is never over until it is really over.. Cos we see that the Last have become the First (F. Alonso- #15 in the Qualifying rounds last Night)... Congratulations to the Winners....
